These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Seattle Chauffeur Service website and your booking and use of our chauffeured transportation services. Please read them carefully. By booking a ride or using our website, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you ("you," "your," or "Client") and Seattle Chauffeur Service, operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] ("we," "us," "our," or "Company"). By accessing our website, making a reservation, or using our transportation services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

If you book on behalf of others, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms for all passengers in your party, and you are responsible for making them aware of these Terms.

2. Our Services

We provide private, pre-arranged chauffeured ground transportation throughout the greater Seattle and Puget Sound region, including airport transfers, corporate and executive travel, hourly as-directed service, point-to-point transfers, and event transportation. All services are by reservation only; we are not a taxi service and do not accept street hails.

Vehicle types, passenger capacities, and availability vary and are confirmed at the time of booking. We reserve the right to substitute a vehicle of equal or greater capacity and class when necessary to fulfill a reservation.

3. Reservations & Booking

Reservations may be made through our online booking system, by phone at (206) 490-0900, or by email. A reservation is not confirmed until you receive a confirmation from us. You are responsible for providing accurate and complete trip details, including pickup and drop-off locations, dates, times, passenger count, flight information where applicable, and a valid contact number.

We recommend booking at least 24 hours in advance for standard transfers and 48 to 72 hours in advance for groups, peak travel periods, or specialty vehicles. Same-day and last-minute requests are accommodated subject to availability.

4. Pricing, Fees & Payment

Quoted fares are based on the information provided at booking. Many of our airport transfers are offered at published flat rates. All fares include applicable taxes and tolls. Hourly and event services are billed at the applicable hourly rate, typically subject to a minimum number of hours.

Gratuity

Gratuity is not included in the base fare. During online checkout you may add a gratuity of your choosing for your chauffeur. Gratuity is optional and entirely at your discretion.

Optional paid add-ons

Certain services are available as optional add-ons for an additional charge, selected at the time of booking, including:

  • Child safety seats — available on request with advance notice, for an additional fee (see Section 8).
  • Airport meet-and-greet — an in-terminal greeting at baggage claim or the arrivals area, for an additional fee (see Section 6).

Additional charges may apply for:

  • Extra stops or changes to the route or itinerary not included in the original quote.
  • Wait time beyond the included grace period, billed at our standard rate.
  • Parking or venue access fees incurred at your request, where applicable.
  • Excessive cleaning required due to spills, illness, or other passenger-caused conditions.
  • Damage to the vehicle caused by a passenger, charged at the cost of repair.

Payment is processed online through our secure third-party payment provider. We accept major credit and debit cards; corporate-account clients may be eligible for invoiced billing on approved terms. You authorize us to charge your payment method for the total fare, any gratuity you add at checkout, and any applicable add-ons or additional charges described above.

5. Cancellations & No-Shows

Cancellations made at least [CANCELLATION WINDOW] before the scheduled pickup time are eligible for a full refund or no cancellation charge. [CANCELLATION FEE TERMS — describe charges for late cancellations, e.g., a percentage of the fare or a flat fee within the window, and full-fare charges for no-shows.]

A "no-show" occurs when a passenger fails to appear at the pickup location and cannot be reached within a reasonable grace period after the scheduled time. No-shows may be charged the full fare. Cancellation and no-show terms for specialty vehicles, group bookings, and events may differ and will be communicated at the time of booking.

6. Airport Transfers & Flight Tracking

For airport pickups, we monitor flight arrival times and adjust pickups for delays and early arrivals where flight information has been provided. To enable this, you must supply an accurate airline and flight number at the time of booking. We are not responsible for missed pickups resulting from inaccurate or missing flight information.

Standard curbside pickup is included. An in-terminal meet-and-greet — where your chauffeur meets you inside at baggage claim or the arrivals area with a name sign and assists with luggage — is available as an optional paid add-on selected at booking.

A reasonable complimentary wait time is provided for airport arrivals; wait time beyond that period may be subject to additional charges. We are not liable for delays caused by flight changes, customs or immigration processing, baggage delays, or other factors outside our control.

7. Passenger Responsibilities & Conduct

  • The number of passengers may not exceed the stated seating capacity of the reserved vehicle, for safety and legal reasons.
  • Seat belts must be worn by all passengers where provided, in accordance with Washington State law.
  • Smoking and the use of illegal substances are prohibited in all vehicles.
  • Consumption of alcohol is permitted only where lawful and only by passengers of legal drinking age (21+); the Client is responsible for compliance.
  • Passengers must not engage in unlawful, abusive, or unsafe behavior. Our chauffeurs may refuse service to, or end a trip for, any passenger whose conduct is unsafe, unlawful, or abusive, without refund.
  • The Client is responsible for any damage to the vehicle caused by passengers in their party.

Service Animals & Pets

Service animals are always welcome at no additional charge. Pets are welcome with advance notice and must be transported in an appropriate carrier or kennel unless we agree otherwise; larger animals may require an SUV or larger vehicle. Please tell us about any animal at the time of booking so we can assign a suitable vehicle. The Client is responsible for any cleaning or damage charges resulting from an animal.

8. Child Passengers & Car Seats

Washington State law requires appropriate child restraints for younger passengers. Child safety seats are available from us as an optional paid add-on, by request with advance notice and subject to availability; the fee is shown at the time of booking. If you do not reserve a child seat with us, you are responsible for providing and properly installing any required child safety seat. Please advise us of the number and ages of children at the time of booking so we can plan accordingly. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

9. Luggage & Lost Items

Luggage capacity is limited by vehicle type; please advise us of the number and size of bags when booking so we can assign a suitable vehicle. We are not responsible for damage to luggage or for items left in a vehicle. While we will make reasonable efforts to locate and return items reported lost, we assume no liability for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property. A delivery fee may apply for the return of recovered items.

10. Delays & Force Majeure

While we make every effort to provide timely, reliable service, we cannot guarantee against delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including traffic, road or bridge closures, weather, accidents, mechanical failure, acts of government, or other events constituting force majeure. We are not liable for any loss, missed flight or connection, or other damages arising from such delays. We strongly recommend allowing ample time for airport and time-sensitive trips.

11. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

Our services and website are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to our services or these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. In no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, missed flights or events, or lost opportunities. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

12. Insurance

We maintain commercial automobile liability insurance and other coverage as required by applicable federal, state, and local regulations governing for-hire passenger transportation. Proof of insurance is available upon reasonable request.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Company, its owners, employees, chauffeurs, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or related to your violation of these Terms, your misuse of our services, or the conduct of any passenger in your party.

14. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, images, and design — is the property of the Company or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content without our prior written permission.

15. Third-Party Services

Our website and booking process rely on third-party services, including our online reservation platform and payment processor. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, or policies of third parties. Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience and do not constitute an endorsement.

16. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or our services shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in King County, Washington, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. 17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Changes are effective when posted to this page. Your continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

18. SMS / Text Message Communications

If you provide your mobile number and opt in — for example, by checking the SMS consent box when booking or creating an account — we may send you text messages related to your reservations, such as booking confirmations, chauffeur status and arrival updates, and account or customer-care notifications. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

You can opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP; for help, reply HELP or contact us at (206) 490-0900. We will not share your mobile number or your SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchasing any service.

19. General Provisions

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of that right or provision. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and the Company regarding our services and supersede any prior agreements on that subject.
